INTRODUCING Me CHRIS MEDIATI

Before graduating from the Faculty of Law at University of Montreal, Chris Mediati first completed a Bachelor’s in Administration with a specialization in marketing at UQAM, during which he was surrounded by long-term entrepreneur mentors. It is this experience that enabled him to develop his creative entrepreneurship spirit – a trait that has followed him throughout his legal practice and made him known for his outside-the-box thinking.

Chris Mediati’s dedication to penal and criminal law ignited when he started his internship at a small firm working on economic crimes related to Revenu Quebec, which gave him the opportunity to have access to large files as well as a jury file. His career path later led him to working alongside Brouillard, Joyal, Rancourt & Avocats, a firm with which he currently collaborates and partners.

Throughout his career, he has gained extensive experience and handled a variety of complex legal cases ranging from conjugal violence to murder, large drug trafficking, fraud of more than one million, trial by jury, as well as bail review before the Superior Court.

Additionally, he has had the opportunity of representing a large variety of companies in Penal & Fine matters, ranging from private to publicly traded companies. He regularly defends his commercial clients interests by defending their rights, negotiating settlements or reducing the potential economic consequences pertaining to an active matter.

When he is not representing clients, Chris enjoys staying active, fine dining, exploring Montreal’s vast food culture and nightlife, as well as attending various fundraising and charity events.
